Teams from IPC Machines, UK Heavy Machinery and Agri Turkmenistan visited Bauma, one of the largest trade fairs in the world. They were accompanied by various Mining and Construction customers from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. After visiting the trade fair a group from IPCM took the opportunity to visit the Liebherr Colmar Mining excavator plant in France with a customer from Kazakhstan. Colleagues from Agri Turkmenistan also went to visit the European JD Headquarter in Mannheim.
One of the key topics at Bauma was emission reduction of our industry. Particularly electrification of industrial machinery as well as hydrogen combustion engines making its way into real life applications on construction and mining sites of tomorrow. As such, Liebherr showcased a T274 diesel electric mining truck with trolley assist as well as the R 9XX H2 crawler excavator with a hydrogen engine.
