John Deere will supply 1350 machines to Turkmenistan

The Ministry of Agriculture and Water Economy of Turkmenistan has signed a contract with John Deere International GmbH to purchase a large quantity of agricultural machinery, spare parts and consumables. Supplies of advanced farm machinery (1.350 pieces in total) will be provided in three stages in 20117-2020.

During the first stage, 150 new John Deere W540 combines will be supplied by the start of the grain-harvesting campaign. New combines have been successfully tested in the field and proved to work well in country’s soil and climatic conditions.

The next stage involves the delivery of 400 units of John Deere 8245R tractors in June-July, and 200 units of cotton harvesters John Deere 9970 in August-September. The same quantity of these combines will arrive to Turkmenistan for a 2018 cotton-harvesting campaign. Also 400 units of 3810 John Deere plows will be delivered during 2017.
